About the Doctor

Dr. Nathaniel Swan has been a health care provider for twenty five years.  His medical background includes being a surgical assistant both in the U.S. Navy and after his four years of service he was hired by Duke University Medical Center.  He was the head tech in both plastic, neuro and orthopedic surgery.

A licensed Chiropractor since 1995. He received his degree from Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport Iowa.  After serving  with Dr Roy Sweat in Atlanta for several months and doing vacation relief in Tampa Florida he moved to Seattle in March of 1996.  He purchased Fall City Chiropractic in Feb. of 1997. This is my third profession.  He went to the University of North Carolina and was enrolled in the BS Nursing Program in the late 70's.  By the early 80's he was co-director of an independent living center in Southern California for spinal cord/wheel chair bound adults.  This is a position he had for 11 years.  Prior to 1997 he was a surgical assistant both in the US Navy and in North Carolina at Duke University.  His specialties included neurology, orthopedics and plastic surgery.  During the mid- 80's he attended UCLA and received a degree in Exercise Physiology which he applied at the rehab center as well as a personal trainer at Sports Club LA and Sports Club Irvine and Sports Club Manhattan  Beach.. 

Dr. Swan is an avid sailor and has been sailing since he was 10 years old.  He was the Junior National Champion in the Snipe Class in 1995 and taught sailing for five summers at Camp Sea Gull/Seafarer, in North Carolina; For the first seven years here in Seattle Dr. Swan was on a 7 man team that raced through out the Puget Sound area and was proud to be a part of a winning and regional ranked team .

The entire time spent in Southern California He choose Hawaiian Outrigger Canoeing as my major form of activity. He was on 4 World Championship teams through the Offshore Canoe Club in Newport Beach California.  He also taught an advanced Aerobic class for 5 years with approximately 300 students.
